Many of us work in industries that involve cooperation between many different networked businesses. People not being on the same page can throw a serious wrench into the cogs of any business endeavour. Former LA Police Chief William Bratton has written a great book about how to maintain those critical business relationships. Congress should read it!!
NEW YORK, Feb. 5, 2012. One of the world’s leading experts on safety and security has warned that the Iranian threat to western cities is real. Cities should increase vigilance now, he said, anticipating a possible spring-time Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
Speaking on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight, Bill Bratton, chairman of Kroll and past chief of the Los Angeles, New York, and Boston police departments, said “The Israelis believe it's not a matter of whether Iran has the capacity. It’s about decision making. If the Ayatollah decides to activate that program, within a year they would have a working device.”
“The Iranians, in the past have shown a capability and an interest in attacking this country around issues involving the Israelis,” Bratton said.
With the prospect of an Israeli attack as early as this spring, Bratton said, “I would be concerned.”
He urged leaders to anticipate attacks and increase vigilance now. “With all that is going on, I would be ramping up watching for potential activity.”
